Lately I find myself writing more often, so I am posting my meandering contemplations here on my blog.
For the moment, I have two goals in mind:
1️⃣ Giving heed to the call
2️⃣ Using my voice
Looking Forward to 2024
In 2024 another Dutch poetry bundle will be released in Lelystad, my friend Juul Baars worked on it with several other local poets and artists. I contributed 3 new poems to it that I wrote this last Fall in honor of my grandma and also the neighborhood we live in, Lelystad-Haven.
More about the complete bundle and it’s release date will be announced at a later time. For now, I can share that the poems feature local sites in Lelystad where we live, experience and grow. It is a rather beautiful way to give a voice to life as it is in this small and fairly young city in Flevoland.
A peek behind the Purmer & Binnendijk
There are also some other writing projects I have been slowly breathing life into, some stories in Papiamento and a novel. I will share more as time goes on in the Papiamento section of this website.
I find it easier to contribute to others so now the blog is the employer I volunteer for and will be contributing stories, poem and contemplations and a podcast to.
Topics will flow based on inspiration and will orbit around esoterism, life and reflection.
I am still figuring out the typesetting, I personally abhor modern “blog” styles, attention grabbing and prefer the basic typesetting we use in WORD… but WordPress Gutenberg makes that so freaking curbersome.
